Dream: Anne told me in my dream about this place. I went there and I was staying at a place similar to a resort in a small town. I was helping restore the small resort. Individual buildings like Casitas. Single story. Maybe 7 or 8. Near water, had outdoor bathrooms in a single row with toilet seats, but the toilets were exposed in the front with half curtains from the top down. Each toilet seat was tucked in an alcove like room but no door or privacy from the front. Nearby was a pond. Diving into the pond, you could see large, ancient type statues sculptured in the water. The statues looked like ancient civilization idols of their gods. Inside the water were 3 men. I pulled out 2 men, and while pulling out the 3rd man, he fell back in. Later, someone I told about the 3rd man they went to helped pull him out. Later, that man gave me 4 silver coins to thank me. The man was very tall, dark hair, and a beard showed a growth of about 3 days. He said the coins were worth about $2000 each. I tried to return the coins to him since I learned it was all he had. But he wouldn't take them back. The coins were very shiny, brand new about the size of dimes. I remember suddenly talking with Trevor and Rodger. They were tired and wanted to know where they could rest. I pointed to one of the finished Casitas that had two beds that had been restored. They raced over and entered into the Casita.
Dreams are highly subjective, as they are influenced by personal experiences and emotions. However, I can offer an interpretation for the elements in this dream:
The small resort and the act of helping restore it symbolize a desire for relaxation and rejuvenation in your waking life. This may indicate a need for self-care or a longing for a peaceful environment.
The outdoor bathrooms with half curtains suggest a lack of complete privacy or vulnerability in some aspect of your life. It could indicate a need to establish healthier boundaries or to address feelings of exposure.
The pond and the large, ancient statues represent deeper emotions and the subconscious mind. The act of diving into the pond and pulling out the men suggests a willingness to explore and confront those hidden emotions or aspects of yourself. However, the third man falling back in indicates that there may still be unresolved issues or emotions that require attention.
The tall man who gives you silver coins symbolizes an unexpected reward or recognition for your efforts. The coins themselves represent value and abundance, as well as potential feelings of self-worth and validation.
Your attempt to return the coins reflects a generous and selfless nature, as you show concern for the man's well-being. However, his refusal to take them back suggests that you should embrace and accept the rewards and recognition you receive.
Lastly, the presence of Trevor and Rodger seeking rest in the restored Casita may represent the need for companionship or support in your life. It may also indicate that you have provided comfort or assistance to others in the past.
Overall, this dream may reflect a desire for relaxation, a need to establish boundaries, a willingness to explore deeper emotions, unexpected rewards, and the importance of accepting recognition. It may also highlight the value of companionship and helping others. Remember, the true meaning of a dream can only be fully understood by the dreamer.
